This Privacy Policy applies to WGM services which include but are not limited to providing applications (“Applications”) through which you may share information and content with us and other third parties (“Users”) as described hereunder.

 

We are deeply committed to safeguarding and upholding your privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to share how we collect, employ, and otherwise manage the personal information of users and other individuals aged 13 and above, in relation to our Platform. Our services are created for users aged 13 and older, and we do not intentionally collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy, and we will inform you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this webpage.

 

How We Collect Your Information

 

We may collect information about your activity when you use our Applications (collectively “Application Content”) including but not limited to information concerning:

(i) your location data, if you grant us permission to collect and verify your precise GPS location,

(ii) how you engage with the camera to capture and share visual and audio content including images, videos and other data from your device's sensors, camera, and microphone, as well as any metadata related to the content captured by you through the Applications, 

(iii) your IP address, access times, pages viewed, identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser type, advertising identifiers, language, and pages you visited before or after navigating to our website.

(iv) connections to wireless and mobile networks, including your service provider, mobile phone number, and signal strength.

We may share information about you and your activity of when you use our Applications or content you capture from within the Applications including but not limited to:

(a) How You Interact with our Applications. We may view, use, and share (i) information about how you interact with our Applications, and (ii) content you capture with our Applications.

(b) What Technology You Use to Interact with our Applications. We may view, use, and share the Application Content including information about your device and usage to help optimize the Applications for you and other Users for optimal viewing and prevent fraud.

(c) Content Your Capture in our Applications. We may view, use, and share any content you capture through the Applications with Users and the public anywhere outside our Applications.

(d) Application Content in Legal Proceedings. We may view, use, and share any of your Application Content from the Applications to (i) adhere to any legitimate legal process, governmental request, or applicable laws, regulations, or rules, (ii) investigate, address, or enforce potential infringements of our Terms of Service, (iii) safeguard the rights, assets, or well-being of us, our users, or others, (iv) identify and rectify instances of fraud or security issues.

(e) In Connection with a Sale, Merger, or Other Business Transfer. We may disclose all of the information we gather in connection with a significant corporate transaction, such as the sale of a website, a merger, consolidation, asset sales, or, in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.

(f) Additional Data Handling. We reserve the right to access, utilize, and share your Application Content from the Applications with third-party entities that provide services for the Applications or conduct other business activities on our behalf. This sharing will be done in an aggregated, non-personally identifiable, or de-identified information format.

 

For Legal Reasons


(a) Third-Party Integrations. Our services contain third party content and integrations including filters, lenses, and other third party integrations. You may provide information to WGM and these third parties through these integrations and we’re not responsible for how those third parties collect or use your information. Please review the privacy policies of each third party service you use in connection with our services.

(b) Data Retention Period. We may retain your Application Content indefinitely, unless mandated by legal obligations. Furthermore, legal requirements may necessitate the preservation of your data if we receive reports of abuse or other infringements of our Terms of Service, or if any Application Content is flagged as constituting abuse or Terms of Service violations. To delete your personal data, please send an email to [[email protected]]. We’ll take steps to delete your information as soon as is practicable, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law.

(c) Data Transfers. We may gather your personal data, transfer it to, and retain and process it in the United States and other nations beyond your country of residence, and located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Whenever we share information beyond your country's borders, we ensure that there is a suitable transfer mechanism in place, especially when legally required. We also take care to verify that any third parties with whom we share information have appropriate transfer mechanisms in place.
